Today, the Pre-Therapy International Network (PTIN) launched pre-therapy.com to globally connect people interested in Pre-Therapy and Contact Work. The participants of 10 annual PTIN meetings in Ghent, Belgium have contributed financially to the development of this website.
Anyone can register as a user of pre-therapy.com for free! Registered users can contribute to the Contact List and the News section.
Other features include:
- Contact List: The Contact List can list all registered users that want to be listed. This will help all of us to connect with others sharing specific interests, using the same language, or living in the same area.
- News section: Browse through the latest information on Pre-Therapy and Contact Work, read book reviews and meeting reports, check experiences of workshop participants and trainees. All registered users can submit news items with a web form, the editors will briefly check your work and then publish it online.
- Calendar: An up to date overview of all Pre-Therapy and Contact Work workshops and meetings. PTIN members will post activities online.
- Reference List: browse trough our listing of Pre-Therapy and Contact Work publications. Soon some of these publications will be available online in full text.
- PTIN membership: becoming a member of the international network is now easy as 1, 2, 3! Just complete the webform and follow payment instructions. Membership entitles you to post in the Member Zone, to add your activities on the calendar, to send e-mails to the PTIN mailing list, and to participate in the annual international meeting (paying for organisation costs only).
In time we hope to offer pre-therapy.com in multiple languages. Additionally, once we have enough users and funding, you will be able to start online communities within the pre-therapy.com domain.
A great THANK YOU to all PTIN members for their moral and financial support, to Jill Prouty who founded the network, and of course to Garry Prouty himself, who gave us the insights and attitudes that shaped the soul of Pre-Therapy and Contact Work.
The editorial board / moderators of the site are currently:
